Lake Arrowhead and Surrounding Mountains
Beautiful Mountain Communities
Home to the movie stars of the 1950′s, the Lake Arrowhead Communities continue to captivate visitors and residents with the ever changing beauty of nature. The area features unique seasonal activities and attractions that can be enjoyed during any time of year. In addition to the local wildlife and pristine mountain lakes, various hiking and biking trails in the surrounding area provide an opportunity to retreat into nature and escape the daily grind. Flowering Dogwoods and Daffodils are a wonderful reason to visit during the spring. Also, the melting snow replenishes local creeks and waterfalls with refreshing water providing spectacular scenery for the adventurous hiker. During the summer, visitors can participate in a number of water activities including kayaking, swimming and fishing. Fall offers an array of brilliant colors as the Oak and Dogwood leaves change into brilliant oranges and reds. The evergreen Cedar and Pines trees help to keep the mountain green all year long, even during the winter snow season. With local ski resorts and excellent sledding the Lake Arrowhead Communities offers entertaining winter activities for individuals, families and groups. While the mountain resorts are known for our remarkable natural attractions, there are several events and points of interest that keep visitors returning year after year.
