The winter season in the San Bernardino Mountains is in full effect and it is the perfect time to go sledding! While many people love skiing and snowboarding in the Lake Arrowhead area, we know that not everyone’s a skier. Sometimes we just want to have some fun in the snow. So, book your own rustic cabin at Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins, bring your sleds and come enjoy local snow sledding!
Sledding at Pine Rose & Near By
There are local places to go snow sledding or snow tubing for a fee like Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park or Snow Valley Mountain Ski Resort . Both places make artificial snow everyday during the winter season. If, there is natural snow we also free sledding areas on Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins property and next door. Just ask our friendly Guest Relations Host for directions to a special spot just a short walk from your cabin!

Snowdrift – Snow Tubing Park

Snowdrift Snow Tubing Park is an outdoor family recreation attraction located in the San Bernardino National Forest. Listed in the AAA’s Tour Guide as a Southern California Recreational area. Snowdrift is Southern California’s largest & oldest snow tubing park.
Because it is a place where people of all ages can enjoy the clean mountain air and have a great time while staying at Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins. Also, they offer snowy slopes for downhill rides on individual snow tubes that are designed with handles and a belly strap. With beginner, intermediate, and advanced slopes are available and at 6500 feet above sea level there is something for everyone!

Rates and hours can change due to weather conditions and other factors, so make sure you check with each place for snow conditions and to confirm they’ll be open before you go there.
No matter where you decide to go sledding and have fun in the snow together, please remember that you are in the San Bernardino National Forest. So, be sure to always pick up your trash, or other debris while you visit. Whatever you take into the forest, please take it out with you. Also, it is unlawful to sled along local roads and highways or to throw snowballs at cars or trucks. Many visitors are injured every year when playing in unfamiliar snow areas because of rocks and trees.
